Benefits of this Scheme
Birth-time Help
- At the time of birth, ₹500 is given to the child’s family as financial support.
Yearly Financial Help
- Annually, ₹300 to ₹1000 is given for the child’s education, so that the family does not face problems paying school fees, buying books, or other educational materials.
- This support is not fixed and varies according to class.

Eligibility Criteria
BPL Family
- To be eligible, the girl must belong to a BPL family.
Two Girl Limit
- Only two girls per family can receive the benefits of this scheme.
Residence
- Must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
Gender
- This scheme is only for girls.
Date of Birth
- Only girls born on or after 15 August 1997 are eligible. No one else can apply.
Education
- To continue receiving benefits, the girl must remain in school. If she leaves school, she will not be eligible.
Marriage Before 18
- If the girl gets married before the age of 18, she will be disqualified from receiving the benefits of this scheme.
Documents Required
- A birth certificate to prove the age of the girl child.

Application Process
