BOB IT Recruitment 2026: Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released official notifications for the recruitment of Information Technology (IT) professionals on both regular and contractual bases.

Through this recruitment drive, the bank plans to fill a total of 441 vacancies, including 418 posts on a regular basis and 23 posts on a contractual basis. Eligible and interested candidates can start submitting their online applications on January 30, 2026. The last date to complete the application process and pay the required fees is 19 February 2026.

BOB IT Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a full-time B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA in computer science, information technology, or electronics and communications from a recognised university.

Some posts prefer additional certifications such as JAVA, MERN, AI/ML, Cloud, Networking, Database, or Data Science.

Experience

  • Officer-level posts: Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Manager-level posts: Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Senior Manager/AVP posts: Minimum 5 years of experience

Experience must be relevant to the applied position.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • Officer: 22–32 years
  • Manager: 24–34 years
  • Senior Manager/AVP: 27–40 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other reserved categories as per government rules.

Credit History

Candidates must have a minimum CIBIL score of 680 at the time of joining.

Selection Procedure for BOB IT Recruitment 2026

The selection process may include:

Candidates must clear each stage to be considered for final selection. Meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection.

Application Fee

  • ₹850 + charges for General, EWS, OBC
  • ₹175 + charges for SC, ST, PWD, women, and ESM

The fee is non-refundable.

Salary & Service Conditions

For regular posts, salaries will be as per the officer scale of the bank, along with allowances and benefits. Selected candidates will be on 1-year probation and must sign a 3-year service bond of ₹5 lakh (if leaving early).

Contractual posts will receive a salary based on qualification, experience, and market standards.
