Features of the Nanda Gaura Yojana

To encourage families to celebrate the birth of daughters and to help girls continue their studies without financial stress. To remove gender inequality in society. To provide financial assistance monthly to the girl so that she can pursue higher education. Prohibiting child marriage.

Who can apply for the Nanda Gaura Yojana?

The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Uttarakhand. This scheme is valid for two girl children belonging to the same family. The baby girl should be born in a government or private hospital or an ANM centre. Annual family income should not be more than Rs. 72,000/-. The first phase must be applied for within 06 months of the girl child’s birth. The second phase’s last date to apply is November 30 of each financial year.

Application Process for Nanda Gaura Yojana

Click on the “First Phase Online Application Process” for benefits at birth or the “Second Phase Online Application Process” for benefits on passing Class 12. Then, fill out the application form with accurate details. Upload all required documents. Finally, submit the application form.

Documents Required for Nanda Gaura Yojana

For the First Phase Application –

For the Second Phase Application

How to check application status

Visit the official website and click on “Check Application Status”. Select Phase-1 or Phase-2 based on your application. Enter your unique application number. Then, click on the submit button. Your application status will show on the screen.
